18-year-old accused of child molestation in Columbia County
EVANS, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - An 18-year-old was arrested this week after he was accused of child molestation, according to authorities. Urban Alford was arrested on Monday, according to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office. An incident report states deputies met with the victim’s father in December in regards to a sexual assault that happened in 2019.

Two Men Arrested Following Pursuit and Crash - Columbia County Sheriff's Office
On Wednesday, October 25, Columbia County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested two men on multiple charges including drug and firearm charges following a vehicle pursuit and crash. At 1:46 pm, a CCSO Deputy stopped a U-Haul truck on I75 near mile marker 431 for an improper lane change which nearly caused a crash.
